Batley Eyecare was founded by optometrists Alex and Habiba who are passionate about giving honest advice. At Batley Eyecare, our expert optometrists are leaders in the world of optometry combing their love for research with honesty, knowledge and integrity. This means that you will get an evidence based recommendation. Our ethos is to provide you with the best eye test possible and to ensure all your questions and concerns are fully answered.

A sight test available for those in selected groups: Free NHS eye tests and optical vouchers - NHS

Can be upgraded to enhanced examination including OCT and ocular biometry for £20

Enhanced Private Eye Examination

A private eye examination with the addition of OCT technology including anterior eye OCT and ocular biometry. Essential for those who would like their eyes to remain healthy for longer. Performed by our expert optometrists

Able to be booked after either an NHS sight test, or private eye examination. Our skilled optometrist will express the blocked glands of your eyelids and clean away the debris. Essential for those who spend times on computer screens or driving.

    If you have glaucoma or a family history or glaucoma, our glaucoma specialist Dr Swystun can provide providing monitoring for this to give you the piece of mind in keeping your eyes and vision safe.

    Dr Swystun or Dr Bham can provide enhanced dry eye assessment. This service is perfect for those who have are tired of hearing the same advice of just being told to buy the red bottled eye drops

    Have you got a new eye problem within the last 4 weeks. A sticky or red or painful eye? New flashing lights or floaters in the vision? If so, phone the practice for a free of charge health check

    Second Opinions

    Unsure about your last eye test or advice given? Dr Swystun provides second opinions to give you that reassurance you need. This can be for queries with a spectacle, or health issue.
