Founded by optometrists Dr Alex and Dr Habiba, Batley Eyecare was established with a passion for providing honest, expert-led eyecare. Dr Alex and Dr Habiba are highly respected in the field, holding advanced qualifications and have been actively involved in training the next generation of optometrists.

Here at Batley Eyecare we take myopia control seriously. That’s why we have a number of different options available to choose from depending on the circumstances.
With Myopia control spectacle lenses ranging from £150 to £250, or myopia control contact lenses from £50pcm we’ve got you covered. As the only local practice capable of measuring your child’s axial length, we are able to more accurately measure the effect of the treatment and ensure that we swap methods if this is not working. Measuring the spectacle prescription is only one element to controlling myopia.
We are also one of few practices in the UK able to prescribe low dose atropine (Ryjunea atropine 0.01%) eye drops to help slow down myopia progression.

Enhanced Private Eye Examination

A private eye examination with the addition of OCT technology including anterior eye OCT and ocular biometry. Essential for those who would like their eyes to remain healthy for longer. Performed by our expert optometrists

Have a new problem with your eye? For example watery, itchy, painful, red eyes? Or new floaters or flashes of light in your vision? Book a free health check today. The problem must have happened within the last 2 weeks. We can upgrade this to include OCT for only £20.

Able to be booked after either an NHS sight test, or private eye examination. Our skilled optometrist will express the blocked glands of your eyelids and clean away the debris. Essential for those who spend times on computer screens or driving.
