Data Protection
Batley Eyecare takes your data as seriously as we take your eye health. Your data will be processed solely for the purpose of providing your care. We do not sell your personal data. Occasionally your data may be required to be shared with other health care providers such as the local hospitals or your general practitioner. In addition, we are required to send your data through pathways commissioned by the local NHS. For example, we use NHS.net email and/or EyeV referral platform in order to send your details to the local hospitals, if required. Your contact details will be used by Swys Optical Ltd to remind you of appointments that are either due, or booked or about spectacle/ contact lens / other orders.
Purchases/Refund policy
Spectacles are bespoke goods are are therefore not eligible for return for refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. Similarly, eye drops and eye hygeine devices are unable to be returned once the box is opened. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery times
Spectacles are ordered direct from manufacturers and can take anything from one week to three weeks. Occasionally it may be longer depending on availability of stock. Dry eye drops will be posted within 2 business days of order using Royal Mail first class, or evri next day or similar postage.
Faulty Products
If you believe your product to be defective you are required to inform us of this within 24 hours of delivery.
